About
I am an award-winning producer for Telemundo 44 in Washington, D.C., and a graduate of the University of California, San Diego who double-majored in Communications and International Studies Political-Science with a minor in Human Rights and Migration.
I have experience in the areas of communication as a multimedia journalist including newspapers, websites, broadcast, video-editing, and social media. I also have experience in the area of research, immigration, and binational issues in the U.S.-Mexico border region, including a published report on forced migration. These are both areas I am passionate about and wish to explore forward.
I was born and raised in Mexico but moved to the U.S. to pursue my higher education. As a result, I am a bilingual professional who is able to adapt and learn from different cultures, as well as to perform in diverse environments.
